The beginning of the journey-SeaStar was established through a partnership with the Turkish side, setting the foundation for a modern pistachio processing business in Aqaba.

Semi-automatic cracking machines were introduced, reaching 3 tons/day and operating with a team of 15 employees, focused on serving the local market.
An initial study began to expand the facility in response to increased demand and future growth opportunities.
Preparations started to establish a new factory on a land area of 5,000 m²-a major step toward scaling production.
The first factory (area 1,000 m²) was fully established and equipped with semi-automatic cracking lines, maintaining 3 tons/day with a 15-person team supporting the local market.
SeaStar introduced Jordan's first Bühler optical sorting machine for pistachio processing-expanding raw material sources and increasing production capacity to 8 tons/day. This period also opened new cooperation opportunities with the local community and supported female employment initiatives.

The global expansion strategy launched-opening new markets in North Africa and Europe. New Z1 sorting machines were installed, increasing capacity to 12 tons/day through a team of 30 employees. SeaStar also obtained key certifications including HALAL, FSSC, ISO 9001, and HACCP, and joined the International Nut & Dried Fruit Council (INC).
Partnerships were formed with raw material suppliers in the United States, and SeaStar entered new markets in South America (Brazil).

SeaStar obtained ISO 22000 and achieved Great Place to Work. Cracking machines were renewed and the Bühler 3A sorting model was introduced with a production line capacity of 3 tons/hour. Female workforce participation reached 40% of total employees.

Production capacity increased to 17 tons/day, with expanded sieving lines reaching 20 tons/day. SeaStar also won the “Best Workplace for Women” award.
SAP automation was implemented for warehouse management. SeaStar also achieved TRUST PROGRAM certification from JFDA and introduced the Bühler A5 sorting model with a 4 tons/hour line. Energy and environment studies supported the start of building SeaStar 2 (approx. 10,100 m²).
The team grew to 110 members with 60% female representation. HR automation was rolled out via the KAYYAN app, and two AI sorting machines were added to increase product quality.
SeaStar Factory 2 is established and operating with AI technologies and fully automated packaging systems-scaling production capacity to 50 tons/day.

The journey continues-focused on continuous innovation, sustainable growth, and raising the standard for global pistachio processing.
